Good afternoon! EMR Metal Recycling is partnering with Spectro Alloys to collect items for hurricane victims in NC and TN. Our goal is to fill a 53’ trailer. We have until 10.22.24. If you’d like to help, you can drop off items at 12432 Energy Dr. SE, Becker.

Cash donations will purchase items on the below list.

They stopped by Neighbors this afternoon and dropped off a BIG check!

Each month Northern Metal Recycling - St. Paul Division collects scrap metal donations from the public and the proceeds are donated to a charity or program benefitting our community and surrounding areas. Go check them out!

Northern Metal- Becker has been collecting donations for toys for tots. We have two overflowing boxes 📦 🧸 and the gifts 🎁 are still coming in. Our hope is to make Christmas 🎄 a little brighter for kiddos in need.

Each month Northern Metal Recycling- St. Paul division designates a charity or program benefiting our community and surrounding areas. Donations of metal goods from the public make this effort possible.

Soldier 6 is a 501(c)3 non profit organization based in Minnesota. Their mission is to provide honorably discharged veterans, police officers and fire fighters with specially trained K-9’s. These special dogs will become their battle buddy and help guide them through difficult days in life.

We are pleased to recognize and donate $2,073.75 to Soldier 6 and the work they do to create a happy, healthy and thriving community.

Good Evening, Becker Community Members-
The incident at Northern Metal Recycling this evening was the unfortunate result of a belt that started on fire during a maintenance shift. We are extremely fortunate to have employees who quickly contained the fire and called in the fire department. The fire has been completely extinguished. Please be aware that what you may be seeing now is the steam dissipating out of the building. The Fire Department will remain on the scene to monitor. The State Duty Officer and the MPCA have been notified. We are truly grateful for the swift response from local Law Enforcement and Fire Departments (Becker, Clear Lake and Big Lake Fire, Becker PD and Sherburne County Emergency Management).
