Working at an auction house means being surrounded by incredible history and unique treasures every single day—and for the "auction junkies" on our staff, it tests our willpower daily.

Case in point: Ann, our cataloger, stumbled across this collection of vintage Airedale and Welsh Terrier artwork and figurines while working. Having grown up with Airedales and Welsh Terriers, she's completely obsessed with both lots, from the framed prints and silhouettes to the miniature porcelain figurines, and now faces the ultimate employee dilemma: choosing which one to bid on.

We recently evaluated two fascinating coins from a client’s estate:
1915 Austrian 4 Ducat: A massive, ultra-pure gold piece (.986 fine / 23.75k) containing 0.4438 oz of pure gold. At current spot prices (~$4,650/oz), the gold alone in this single coin is worth around $2,060+.
