Financial Advisor at Ameriprise Financial Services, LLC I am a West Virginia native and grew up in Beckley. I enjoy exercising and being outdoors!

I graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School where I played volleyball and softball. I attended Marshall University and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in Finance and minors in Marketing and Economics. I married my high school sweetheart, Doug, who accomplished an eight-season career in the NFL, including two Super Bowls. Following Doug's retirement, we decided to raise our family back home in WV. We have three children – Trip (12), Millie (9), and Tucker (7) who are each heavily involved in sports, church, and school activities. Giving back to the community is of utmost important to me. Upon moving home to West Virginia in 2020, I served as the Executive Director of our United Way of Southern West Virginia and navigated unprecedented times through the COVID-19 Pandemic. I am still an active Board Member of our United Way of Southern West Virginia, a Director for our Beckley-Raleigh County Chamber of Commerce, and very actively involved as a member at Cross Point Church. I also enjoy coaching swim team at the YMCA of Southern West Virginia and helping coach softball at Beckley Little League. This morning, our 1st Annual Country Roads Connections BOO-NI Cup proved that great networking & a little friendly Halloween competition make a FANG-tastic team-building combination.

Yesterday, our United Way of Southern WV hosted our ‘Leader’s Club’ Event to officially kick-off our 26-27 Campaign! 🎉

We had a great day yesterday at Bridge Haven Golf Club supporting Active Southern WV who does so much to promote health & community/youth engagement! ⛳🏃‍♀️🧗

Today was my annual ‘favorite day’ to be a United Way of Southern WV Board Member. Each year we’re paired up with a fellow Board Member to review our nonprofit agency applications and then go on a site visit together.

This year, my wonderful partner (and friend) was Dr. T. Ramon Stuart, WVU Tech President. We enjoyed every minute of getting to see what our 3 assigned partner agencies do each & every day to improve our community.
Their selfless service is WHY every single dollar we raise for UWSWV counts and improves lives.

This past year, I had an idea to create a ‘friendly competition’ of teams among our Beckley-Raleigh County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors to encourage us all to attend as many Chamber events as we can each 6 months. We all want to support our local businesses & it’s important we show up for them.

At yesterday’s Board of Directors meeting, our team WON that first award! 🥇👏🏻 “Go Team!”

As we celebrate Independence Day, I'm reflecting on the values that matter most — freedom, opportunity, and the ability to plan for the future with confidence.

Wishing you and your loved ones a safe and meaningful Fourth of July.

The first part of this week was spent in the beautiful DC/National Harbor area for our Ameriprise Solutions Summit. 🇺🇸🎡💻

We focused on sharpening skills of our great tools available which help us identify client needs & further protect what matters most to them.

Just another example of the resources & support Ameriprise extends to us as Advisors.

On Friday, we kicked off Memorial Day weekend by supporting Raleigh County Young Life. All rain, no shine, but certainly worth it! ⛳ 🇺🇸 🌧️
