I graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School where I played volleyball and softball. I attended Marshall University and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in Finance and minors in Marketing and Economics. I married my high school sweetheart, Doug, who accomplished an eight-season career in the NFL, including two Super Bowls. Following Doug's retirement, we decided to raise our famil
y back home in WV. We have three children – Trip (12), Millie (9), and Tucker (7) who are each heavily involved in sports, church, and school activities. Giving back to the community is of utmost important to me. Upon moving home to West Virginia in 2020, I served as the Executive Director of our United Way of Southern West Virginia and navigated unprecedented times through the COVID-19 Pandemic. I am still an active Board Member of our United Way of Southern West Virginia, a Director for our Beckley-Raleigh County Chamber of Commerce, and very actively involved as a member at Cross Point Church. I also enjoy coaching swim team at the YMCA of Southern West Virginia and helping coach softball at Beckley Little League.
