If you’ve known me for a while, you probably know I’ve always loved yard sales, antiques, and finding old things with a story behind them before it was “Trendy”. But this love really started with my Papaw. 🤎
Ever since I was little girl, going “yard sailing” with him was our thing. Almost every weekend, you could find us out driving around, stopping at yard sales, digging through boxes, and looking for those little treasures that most people probably would’ve overlooked. Some of my favorite memories with him are from those weekends.
After he passed away, yard sailing and finding vintage pieces just became something that always reminded me of him. It’s a love that stuck with me, and honestly, I don’t think I’ll ever outgrow it.
Now I’ve recently built a brand-new home, and it’s made me realize how much I love the idea of mixing the old with the new. I don’t want my home to feel like everything was bought at once and perfectly matched. I want it to feel collected, cozy, and full of character — with vintage and antique pieces mixed into a brand-new build.
And that’s where Antique & Home came from. 🏡
A little place to share the vintage and antique things I find, home décor, thrifting, decorating our new build, and all the ways I’m bringing old pieces and new spaces together.
In a way, I guess I’m continuing something my Papa and I started all those years ago. ❤️
I’m so glad you’re here. I hope you’ll follow along as I find the old, make a home out of the new, and probably bring home way too many things I absolutely “needed.” 😂🤎
