Reliable Care Means Reliable Transportation. 💙☁️
With upcoming changes to transportation services in the Ellettsville community, we understand that individuals and families may be concerned about how they will continue getting to medical appointments, essential errands, and other important destinations.
At Aire Home Care LLC, transportation can be provided as part of a client’s individualized home care services. Our goal is to make sure the people we serve can continue getting where they need to go safely and reliably.
And reliability matters to us. If a scheduled caregiver experiences an unexpected call-off, our team works to provide coverage so that a client’s essential transportation needs and scheduled appointments are not simply forgotten or canceled because their regular caregiver is unavailable.
If you or a loved one will be affected by changes in local transportation and are considering home care services, Aire Home Care LLC is here to help you explore your options.
☁️ Compassionate care. Dependable support. Transportation you can count on.

👉Ellettsville Rural Public Transit Service Ending December 31, 2026👈
Area 10 Rural Transit regretfully informs residents of Ellettsville that, beginning January 1, 2027, Rural Transit will not be able to provide urban-to-urban public transit service, which includes Ellettsville to Bloomington. This change comes due to federal and state Rural transit funding no longer being available for the urbanized area of Monroe County. Instead, these areas are served by federal and state Urban transit funding.
For many years, Area 10 has been honored to serve your community, and we understand
this service has been an important resource for riders traveling to work, medical
appointments, shopping, and essential daily activities. We know that losing this service will
create challenges for many, and we want our riders to know that this change is not due to
any issue with ridership, or lack of performance but solely because required funding
will no longer be provided to continue these operations.
We deeply value every individual who has relied on and supported Ellettsville’s public
transit service. Our drivers, staff, and partners are committed to ensuring a smooth
transition throughout the remainder of the year. We will work closely with riders to help
identify alternative transportation options where possible. Additional information will be
shared as the final service date approaches.
Area 10 remains grateful for the trust and partnership of the community. Thank you for
allowing us to serve you.
