The Trimble County Cooperative Extension Service provides up-to-date, research based information from the University of Kentucky Cooperative Extension Service and the Cooperative Extension Program of Kentucky State University. Programs and publications are available to all citizens in Agriculture, Family and Consumer Sciences, 4-H Youth Development, Community and Economic Development, and Horticulture.

UPDATE: Agriculture Exemption (AE) Number Renewal 🌾

Following today's meeting with the Kentucky Department of Revenue, we wanted to share that AE numbers can also be renewed using a paper copy application instead of the online portal. If you choose to do a paper copy, you do not have to do anything online in the portal, just simply fill the form out and mail it in.

We now have copies of the paper renewal application available at the Trimble County Extension Office. Stop by to pick up a copy, or print one yourself using the link below.

Remember, current AE numbers expire December 31, 2026, and will need to be renewed.

Kentucky Department of Revenue will host an online informational session on October 19, 2026, at 1:30 PM to help agricultural producers understand the Ag Exemption number renewal process.

If you have questions about renewing your Ag Exemption number, this is a great opportunity to learn more and get the information you need!
