Hey Guys,

I wanted to share a positive experience we had today with a client. Two years ago this client when to a major tax company, trusting and thinking they did everything correct for him. Keep in mind I'm not in the business of ruining any company's reputation, but the truth needs to come out from time to time. Anyways, they screwed up on his taxes and he had to pay the IRS 5,000 plus fees and fines because they forgot to file just one form. After settling the terms of his payment with the IRS, he was finally able to receive his full refund amount this year. Not only did he invite us back to do the returns for both him and his wife, but they referred us to do their friends and family as well. It is truly a wonderful feeling to assist and take care of people in one way or another and be rewarded with more referrals because we simply pay attention to detail and provide people with the individualized tax help that only helps them, not hurts them. The lesson of the day is that my business partner and I are seasoned tax consultants who always check each other's work before submitting any paperwork to the IRS in order to avoid problems like the one experienced by our client ever arising.
