Bedford is an independent professional services firm specializing in cost segregation and innovative tax, finance, and energy solutions for the commercial real estate industry. Our project experience includes engagements on properties with deprecable costs ranging from $350,000 to $1.4 billion, leasehold improvement projects less than 3,000 square feet to buildings in excess of 2 million square feet, and everything from a simple self-storage facilities to a highly complex manufacturing plants. Our technical staff is comprised of professional engineers (P.E.s), multi-disciplinary engineers, architects and construction professionals. Each has a four year related technical degree and a minimum of ten years relevant experience. Additionally, many of them have an advanced degree. Currently, Bedford has more ASCSP Certified members than any other firm in the nation. The Bedford team is highly qualified and relies on a true engineering methodology, which is based on what we refer to as sound engineering. Committed to Excellence
Bedford is truly committed to best practices. We enforce a very rigid quality control process which includes a senior technical and tax review to ensure accuracy. Every study we issue is certified by three professionals (1) the field engineer who performed the study and wrote the report, (2) the senior engineer who reviewed the report and (3) our director of tax who also reviews each report. The outcome is a highly detailed cost segregation study of the finest quality; a study that provides maximum benefits and is truly defensible if ever called under IRS scrutiny.
