Tonights training was divided into two groups. One group conducted search and rescue training utilizing our smoked out mask shields that replicate going into a smoked filled environment and obscuring vision.

The other group worked on pump operations and elevated master streams.

We would like to thank the Bee Development Authority for allowing us to use the old fire station at Chase Field for our training tonight.

Thirty Six responses to end the month of August. Grass fires picked up a little but, most were accidental.

First football game of the season was moved from Alice to our own stadium starting Friday night at 730PM. As always we will be on location assisting with traffic control and standing by for incidents. Please drive carefully around the stadium.

Bee County Western Week is now accepting applications for this year’s parade celebrating America’s 250th!

Western Week has long been one of the traditions Beeville is best known for, bringing visitors from near and far and giving our community something to celebrate with pride.

Businesses, organizations, churches, schools, civic groups, sports teams, families, and community members are invited to participate. Bring your creativity, community pride, and Western spirit to Downtown Beeville!

Beeville firefighters assisted South Bee County FDs with a sizable brush fire off of Baker Road this afternoon. Texas Forest Service and TIFMAS task force firefighters responded as well.

Beeville firefighters are responding to assist South Bee County Firefighters with a structure fire in the Papalote area. Second fire of the day.

Today, August 22, we remember Beeville Police Officer Matthew “Adam” Jimenez.

Adam was only 24 years old when he passed away on August 22, 2021. Born in Grand Prairie on July 3, 1997, Adam found his calling in serving others as a police officer with the City of Beeville. He loved protecting the community and the people he served.

Outside of the badge, Adam enjoyed the simple things that made life meaningful—cooking, playing video games, fishing, and bird hunting. He was a son, a friend, a brother in blue, and a member of our Beeville family.

Five years later, his absence is still felt. But so is his memory.

Today, we remember Adam not simply for the way we lost him, but for the life he lived and the people he touched along the way.

Please join us in keeping the Jimenez family and all of Adam’s loved ones in your thoughts today.

Rest easy, Adam.
You are remembered. You are missed. And you will never be forgotten. 💙
