At our Bellaire Business Builders Chapter, we try to make every meeting actually worth showing up for.
Each time, we turn our gathering into something useful for everyone in the room. We discuss topics that matter to business owners and professionals, share presentations about our businesses, talk about trends, business management, marketing, and plenty more. The meetings are always lively, and we do our best to make sure each member walks away not only with individual advice and support but also with a solid set of useful ideas, knowledge, or practical skills.
And honestly, some of the best value comes from the discussions themselves. They often uncover real problems people are dealing with — and just as importantly, possible ways to solve them.
I wanted to share one of the materials I created for our recent meeting about cybersecurity.
These days, scams and fraud tactics — especially digital ones — are evolving fast. So I put together a brochure covering some of the latest methods people use to trick others, along with ways to avoid them. You can use it for yourself, your family, your friends, and your clients. It is helpful both personally and professionally, and it also works great as a conversation starter.

✨ This morning, right before leading our weekly chapter meeting, I had a doctor’s appointment. And, like so many times before (and I think like many Americans experience), the whole process felt… frustrating.

I booked my visit knowing exactly how much time it would take — my entire day is ruled by my calendar, and sitting endlessly in a waiting room just isn’t an option. I showed up 10 minutes early, but out of my 45-minute slot, 40 minutes went to filling out the same forms and answering the same questions I’ve already answered dozens of times. By the time the doctor walked in, there were maybe 5 minutes left. To be fair, he was great, listened carefully, and we set a plan. But I had to skip the procedure and run out the door to make it to my event.

So — I switched gears at our meeting. Instead of my original topic, we dove into two things:
1️⃣ Respecting other people’s time.
2️⃣ How (and when) to leave honest reviews — good and bad — about businesses.

The conversation was amazing. Everyone shared ideas we could use right away. That’s what I love about our group: every single lunch is packed with meaningful discussions that make us sharper and stronger in business.

Our chapter is still young, but it’s growing, and so is the support we give each other. 🚀 We’re at the start of a long, exciting road — and walking it step by step, together. 💙

Feeling extra grateful today! ✨

Our Bellaire Business Builders chapter is growing, and I honestly couldn’t be happier. Every meeting feels like the best mix of business, friendship, and those “a-ha!” moments that you can take back and use right away.

We meet in this super-cute spot (nothing fancy, but wow—the food is delicious and the service is always top-notch). And every time we gather, the energy is so good that it’s almost painful when we have to wrap up and get back to our own businesses.

What happens around the table?
• We dive into real business theories, approaches, and even personal habits and scheduling hacks.
• We share advice that actually works in practice—refreshing each other’s businesses on the spot.
• We build trust the old-fashioned way: through genuine conversation and showing up for one another.

For me personally—it’s such an honor to lead this group. The members give me so much energy, confidence, and inspiration to keep creating new approaches and ideas. Honestly, they make leadership feel less like “work” and more like an exciting adventure.
