Hi, I’m Gisselle — the owner and heart behind Heavenly Joy 🤍
In 2021, I drove to Connecticut to make my very first investment in a photo booth. I remember the fear so clearly. I felt God calling me to start a business, but I had no roadmap—only questions.
What if I couldn’t get clients?
What if I failed and wasted what God had entrusted to me?
What if claiming God had called me meant it had to succeed… or else I was wrong?
What I’ve learned since then is this: God wasn’t asking me to guarantee success. He was asking me to obey.
That first “yes” wasn’t about proving anything—it was about trust. Along the way, God used this journey to shape me, stretch me, and prepare me for far more than I could see at the time. In just a few short years, that step of obedience became the foundation for multiple businesses and countless lessons I carry with me today.
Success doesn’t always look bold or fearless. Sometimes it looks like moving forward while you’re still afraid.
Today, Heavenly Joy is an award-winning, luxury photo booth experience serving weddings and quinceañeras across New Jersey. But more than that, it’s a reflection of my values: excellence, joy, integrity, and care for every client who trusts me with their once-in-a-lifetime moments.
I’m incredibly grateful—for the doors God has opened, for the clients who believe in our work, and for the reminder that obedience often comes before clarity.
