This week's auction (10.28.26) was short and sweet, with only 17 consignors, lasting 1 3/4 hours, and when I say sweet, I mean like lots of homemade sweets. We did have some produce and 50 dozen eggs, selling for $1.67-$2.90 per dozen. We had 14 pounds of homemade butter selling for $4.00-$4.75 per pound.
We hope to see all of our regular bidders next Wednesday (11.4.26) for our final auction of the season. If you have never been to our produce auction, come join us and see what crosses the auction block; you never know what it might be.

If you haven't made it to the produce auction this season, you still have 2 more chances. November 04th will be the last day of the produce auction of this season.
Please come and join us for the last two auctions; bring a friend or a neighbor.

It was a very chilly day (10.21.26) at the produce auction on Wednesday. Many seats were empty in the auction house; we wondered if the bidders were starting to hibernate. 😂
We had 23 consignors with a nice selection of vegetables and other items. We had 43 1/2 dozen eggs selling for $1.50-$1.90 per dozen and 5 pounds of homemade butter selling for $4.00 per pound.
We will be here next Wednesday at 9:30am. Come and join us to see what crosses the auction block.
We will keep you updated each week as we learn when the last day will be.

Today's post will be short and sweet, just like the auction: 3 hours (10-14-26). We had 27 consignors this week, with produce, eggs, 50 dozen selling for $1.60- $1.70 per dozen, and 7 pounds of homemade butter selling for $6.00 per pound. We also had a wide variety of homemade baked goods and gourmet popcorn. New this week were bags of dried corn; for the first time in five years, I have seen this. Was told you mix it with milk or cream, and it becomes like creamed corn; an excellent seller. We also had many mums, pumpkins, and fall decorations.
Tentatively, our last auction of the season is November 18th. This could change depending on auction supplies.
Join us next Wednesday at 9:30 to see what crosses the auction block, and don't forget to bring a friend or neighbor.

It was a chilly Wednesday morning (10.7.26) at the auction, but the frost wasn't on the pumpkins yet, a good thing. Our produce menu was full again this week; we had every variety of produce crossing the auction block. This week's new item was chestnuts.
This week, we sold 91 dozen eggs for $1.30-$2.10 per dozen.
6 pounds of homemade butter sold for $4.75 per pound.
We had all kinds of homemade baked goods. Lots of mums and Fall decorations.
The official last day of this season will be November 16, 2026; this could change at any time due to a lack of produce and other items.
So, please join us next Wednesday at 9:30 AM. Remember to bring a friend or neighbor.
Please hit the like, comment, and share to stay connected and help us grow our local produce community. Your engagement matters!
