As a consultant and committed harm reductionist, I am proud to attend the National Drug Policy Alliance Conference. The National Black Harm Reduction Convening was powerful and deeply affirming. This work is heavy, but the conference truly defibrillated me — restoring my energy, focus, and purpose.

These spaces remind me why evidence-based strategies, community-driven solutions, and authentic partnerships matter. Let’s go. There is real work to do, and I’m honored to be part of the movement pushing it forward.

The Path to Pro Skills Program is a FREE, on-demand training program. The coursework is designed to teach transferrable soft skills and how-to knowledge for a successful career in the skilled trades.

I had a great time supporting the Immunization Fair this weekend! It was a wonderful turnout and an even greater reminder that prevention is key. Protecting our health and our community starts with staying informed, staying proactive, and showing up.

I am deeply honored to be nominated for the Fred W. Arnold Public Relations Award by the Michigan Pharmacists Association and to have been appointed to the Michigan Society of Pharmacy Technicians State Board. These recognitions affirm my commitment to using my voice, experience, and credentials—including decades as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)—to uplift and advocate for those who are too often overlooked.
Throughout my career, I’ve remained grounded in the belief that healthcare is a right, not a privilege—and that public education, prevention, and harm reduction must reach our most marginalized and disenfranchised communities. I’m proud to stand at the intersection of pharmacy, public health, and community advocacy, continuing the work to ensure that no one is left behind.

I am beyond grateful to Dr. Christianson and Trische Duckworth for being among incredible panelists and sharing wisdom on the school-to-prison pipeline. The insights were invaluable, and the passion for change is truly inspiring.

A huge thank you as well to the University of Michigan School of Social Work students for their engagement and dedication to understanding this critical issue. The future is brighter because of voices like theirs!
