Radiant Mourning

Radiant Mourning Individuals and families with complex financial lives turn to Maureen Kures to make sure their final chapter wishes are decided, documented, and discussed.

That provides huge peace of mind when anyone in the family makes an untimely or unexpected exit.

Someone once said if you take care of someone with dementia you lose them more and more everyday. When they get the diagnosis, when they go through different stages, when they need treatment and when they pass away. This is called "ambiguous loss". As the brain slowly dies, they change physically and eventually forget who their loved ones are. They could end up lying in bed, not moving and not eating or drinking.
There will be people who will scroll past this post because Dementia has not touched them. They may not know what it's like to have a loved one who has battled or is still battling dementia.
To raise awareness of this cruel disease, I would like my friends to put this on their page today.
Hold your finger on the post to copy and paste to your timeline.
A special thank you to anyone willing to put this on their timeline for Dementia Awareness Week! đź’śđź’śđź’ś

: Ephemeral! 🌸 It means lasting for a very short time. A lovely way to describe those fleeting moments that make life special. As an enthusiast of the death-positive movement, I find joy in appreciating the ephemerality of life's experiences. How will you use "ephemeral" in a sentence today?

Have you heard about Terramation, AKA Human Composting? My first reaction was CREEPY! As I thought more about it I found it compelling. Last week was TerraCon24, the first annual convention on Terramation put on by Return Home. It was fascinating. There were people from all over the world. We learned from others doing this work in Colorado and Germany. We learned from a soil scientist who helped Return Home make this burial option possible.

This Thursday at 4 PM, PST on our show, A Different Kind of Doula, we are highlighting all we learned and doing a recap of the conference.
Join us by logging on to https://winwinwomen.tv/show/a-different-kind-of-doula at 4 PM. We can't wait to share!
