Some of your best employees may also be the easiest to overlook.
They're dependable. They do great work. They help others without being asked. And they rarely make sure everyone knows about it.
That's exactly why leaders have to pay attention.
Notice the person who quietly helps a new employee get up to speed. Notice the person who consistently follows through. Notice the person who makes the team better without needing credit for it.
Then, say something.
Being humble and hardworking doesn't mean someone doesn't want to feel appreciated. Even your most loyal employees can get tired of feeling invisible.
Don't walk right past amazing just because amazing isn't asking for attention.
