October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and we're wearing pink for the women we care for, the families who stand beside them, and everyone who has faced this diagnosis. 🎀

Breast cancer risk increases with age, which makes regular screenings just as important at 70 as they are at 40. If it's been a while, this is your sign to schedule that appointment, or to help a mom, grandmother, or friend schedule hers. Men can get breast cancer too, so any changes are worth mentioning to a doctor.

Car. Ferry. Repeat.

For more than three years, Ingrid Mwansa, our own B'zoe Care caregiver, has made that trip every week to care for a client on a remote Washington island. Rain or shine. Her client's family counts on her, and she has never missed a week.

Yesterday, the Home Care Association of America named Ingrid the 2026 Caregiver of the Year. More than 400 caregivers were nominated across the country. Five made the finals. Ingrid won.
Ingrid, all of us at B'zoe Care are so proud of you.
