working on a logo...feedback? this is ROUGH draft

I’ve had a wonderful,opportunity to produce a fairly large (10’x15’) mural for Seldens furniture. It was good to stretch my paining muscles after several years of only working on small projects like portraits. We had to plane down some 2x4’s for the frame as 1x3’s would not have been strong enough to prevent warping when the canvas shrinks. Because there is such a vertical pattern to the trees it was important to keep the canvas square.

All told I think I’ve got 5 days into it…waiting for it to babe intsalled in the store then I will do whatever finish work will be needed. Then I will photograph the final results. I really finally found my happy place towards the end of the project.

I’m ready for the next project! Retiring from my day job will allow me to focus on boosting my skills! I’m so excited about my future!

i struggle with doodles....but working through it!
