I always post positivity on this page, but today, I received a sad news of my aunt's passing. I felt so much anger and sadness that she passed away because she was denied care at the hospital she was admitted to, due to the family that doesn't have the 20,000 Philippines pesos ($320) as a down-payment for her hospitalization. So she died waiting for that care. It's ironic that the Philippines health care system is like this.

The picture below is when Brian and I took her and a few of her family to the beach for a simple get together during our visit early this year. Didn't realized it's the last time I got to see her. 😔 😟 🙁 😥
