I love this for ASL 🤍

Watching this, I’m realizing that I’m doing too much with some of my signs 🤣 BUT I feel myself getting a tadddd faster and whenever I make these, I often need to look up words that I don’t know which helps me learn more.

Also, kind of forgot to mention *how* these words are changing but if anyone knows of other ASL words that are evolving, I’d love to know.

Such a small thing yet so impactful.

It’s hard to explain but there’s a massive emotional labor that often comes with being Deaf. We constantly have to expert energy to ask people to accomdate us and it’s one of the most exhausting things. Sometimes (often) I won’t even bother and will miss moments because I just don’t have the energy for that labor.

Tiny little things like this actually make my day because it didn’t come in a ableist way, it wasn’t overcompensating, it was just a simple offer with an easy answer.

Sometimes I do trades/exchanges for high ticket items but I’m just getting tired of low ticket item companies asking me to make 3 videos for $150. 🫩

How are you all actually getting paid fairly and who is actually accepting these offers???
