Getting the facts about mental health is the first step to understanding and healing. We ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜 Animals as Natural Therapy!

As comes to a close we wanted to share two quick facts about mental health and the LGBTQ+ Community. Trigger warning: these statistics cover information about su***de and violence.


*In the past year, nearly half of le***an, gay and bisexual high school students have seriously considered su***de – and one in four have attempted. From NAMI

*Transgender adults are 12x more likely to attempt su***de in a given year compared to the general U.S. population (from NAMI) and according to the Human Rights Campaign at least 22 transgender or gender non-conforming people are violently killed in the U.S every year.

We still have a long way to go. Let’s use the power of PRIDE to propel us into working for a more just world. Here at ANT, we offer mental health services to break the cycles of pain and loss so that no more young people are lost to su***de. We are affirming and supportive of all gender identities and expressions and all sexual orientations - committed to being an organization, and creating a community, where everyone feels safe to be who they are and love who they love – all year long! We hope you join us in this important work.

Dear friends & supporters of ANT!

We will be placing a small order for T-shirts in the coming weeks and would like to invite our wider community to participate! These soft, cozy shirts are professionally printed by our friend Steve Steiger at Bellingham Screen Printing, and come in men's & women's sizes. This year we've chosen a heather red with cream logo and they really are beautiful. Purchase a shirt for $15 and help support our youth, veterans, and animals!

To Order: Please comment below with your desired quantity & size. Payment by cash, check, or credit card can be completed through our office during business hours, and shirts will be available for pick-up once we have received payment.

NOTE: Women's shirts run VERY SMALL - we suggest ordering at least a size or two above what you would normally wear, or select a Men's size for a looser fit.
