Fall is settling into the Pacific Northwest. 🍂

As the leaves begin to change, pests are changing their routines too. Spiders are more noticeable, rodents are starting to look for sheltered places, and late-season stinging insects can still be surprisingly active.
It’s all part of the seasonal shift we see every year here in Whatcom and Skagit Counties.

House spider season is here. 🕷️

Late summer and early fall are when house spiders become much more noticeable. Mature males are on the move looking for mates, which is why you may suddenly spot spiders wandering across floors, along walls, or in places you haven’t seen them all summer.
