Mid May is when many homeowners start opening windows more often, spending evenings outside, and getting their yards ready for summer.
It is also one of the busiest times of year for pest activity. Ants, spiders, stinging insects, and rodents all become more active as temperatures rise and food sources increase.
A good habit this time of year is to walk around your home and check for small openings, nests under eaves, or areas where vegetation is touching the house. Catching issues early can help prevent much bigger problems later in the season.
Here’s to enjoying the warmer weather, backyard projects, and longer evenings ahead.
