Sometimes it's about helping someone navigate one of life's biggest transitions.

Earlier this year, I sat down with a client facing a profound life change following the loss of her husband. Together, we talked through every step of what would come next—not just preparing a home for sale, but creating a plan that would provide stability, peace of mind, and the best possible outcome.

Rather than rushing to market in January, we discussed timing and strategy, choosing to wait until spring when buyer activity would be stronger. We evaluated what improvements would provide the greatest return, completed a detailed market analysis on a property with very few comparable sales, and carefully crafted a pricing strategy.

At the same time, another challenge needed solving: how could she sell her current home and purchase her next one without having to move twice?

Then something unexpected happened.

Through a personal connection, she learned of a young couple searching for a home just like hers. As it turned out, that couple was already working with an agent in our Windermere office.

What could have been a complicated process became the perfect solution.

Together, we created an off-market sale that provided the buyer with the home they had been searching for and gave my client the time and flexibility she needed to find her next chapter before closing.
