Got this one wrapped up, and we’re pretty proud of how it turned out.

Started as rough grade and worked it into a clean, usable space with retaining walls, steps, and a layout that actually makes sense for the property. A lot of detail went into getting elevations right and making sure everything ties together the way it should.

This kind of work takes time and a solid crew that pays attention to the little things. It’s not just about moving dirt; it’s making sure it works long term and looks right when it’s done.

Hard to believe how fast January flew by. Thanks to our clients and partners, our team at Whatcom Excavation has stayed busy all winter, and we’re grateful for the trust that keeps our calendar moving.

We recently partnered with NorthWest Landscaping & Sprinkler and Gary's Plumbing & Heating, LLC on a project where a client’s sewer system needed attention.

Gary’s Plumbing was first on the scene and identified the problem.

Our crew stepped in to handle the sewer repair and get everything functioning properly again.

Once our work was complete, Northwest Landscaping and Sprinkler came in and transformed the space, restoring it with a beautiful finish.

This project is a great example of how local businesses working together can solve tough problems and leave a property better than before.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Westside Building Supply for their outstanding generosity.

They went out of their way to treat our entire crew to a delicious BBQ, which was an incredibly thoughtful gesture that meant a lot to our team. The food was great, the hospitality even better, and it served as a reminder of the strong relationships that keep our industry thriving.

If you are in the trades and have not stopped by yet, Westside is hosting appreciation BBQs throughout the month of August at their location on Friday's from 11am-1pm. It is just one of the many ways they show support to those they work with.

About the Position
We are currently looking for a Foreman or Lead Operator to oversee a second crew. This role involves managing daily jobsite operations, operating heavy equipment, and working closely with both the crew and project leadership to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
