Holy smokes, we can't believe it's already October!

As most of you know, pre-pandemic, the Fountain District has hosted community trick-or-treating along Meridian. Given the current state of things we have decided to not host an organized event this year.

That doesn't mean that our amazing businesses don't have other things going on though!

- SaviBank Bellingham Branch is giving away pumpkins to the first 100 friends and neighbors on October 15th. We’ll begin at 9am and will continue until they’re all gone. 100 might sound like a lot, but they’ll go fast so-get-there early!

- Zeeks Pizza - Come fuel your stoke at Zeeks 1st annual Halloween party! Saturday October 30, 3 - 6pm. Costume contest, pumpkin carving contest (bring your pre-carved pumpkin), kids craft zone, $2 slices, $4 beers. DJ Tricky spinning classic vinyl for your listening pleasure.

- Intent Hot Yoga - If you haven't been in and want to give Yoga a try, Intent is currently running a new student special! Two Weeks Unlimited Yoga for $25.

The RE Store has reopened! Pop by for all of your DIY and home improvement project needs. Be sure to bring your mask, they're requiring customers to wear them while shopping to help keep customers and staff safe.

The SBA is now offering low-interest federal disaster loans for working capital to Washington small businesses suffering substantial economic injury as a result of the Coronavirus (COVID-19).

Applicants may apply online, receive additional disaster assistance information and download applications at https://disasterloan.sba.gov/ela

Applicants may also call SBA’s Customer Service Center at (800) 659-2955 or email [email protected] for more information on SBA disaster assistance. Individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing may call (800) 877-8339.
