The move may be over, but the transition can last much longer.

The boxes are unpacked.
The keys have changed hands.
The work is technically finished.

But the person who moved may still be figuring out a whole new rhythm.

A new grocery store.
A new neighborhood.
New routines.
New people.
Maybe even a completely different idea of what home feels like now.

Sometimes you need someone to sit with you long enough to show you:

How do I start?
What do I type?
What happens if I ask it the wrong way?
How do I know whether the answer is actually useful?
What do I do next?

And maybe most importantly, someone who sticks around long enough to see how you’re doing with it.

That’s the part of beginner-friendly tech help I care about most.

Not just, “Here’s a tool.”

More like, “Come on, I’ll show you how to use it.” 💻✨

Recently I was reminded that some of the best tech tips are the little everyday ones.

Here are 4 quick Chrome tips that can make life easier:

• Pin important tabs so they stay put
• Search open tabs when you have too many going
• Open Downloads fast instead of hunting for a file
• Use Incognito when you want a clean browser window

Little things, but they save time.

If you’re on a Mac, just swap Command for Ctrl on the shortcuts.

passwords

or one of those things everyone else seems to understand except you

Scam texts have gotten REALLY good at looking legitimate.

Your package couldn't be delivered. There's a problem with your account. You need to verify something right away.

And there’s usually a convenient little link waiting for you to click. 😬

Don’t click first. Check first.
