It's been a full 2 weeks since Airventure ended - are you missing it yet?! We had a great time with friends, customers, coworkers and of course seeing the 10,000+ airplanes together in one place! This year we partnered with The Flying Bulls and Dakota Territory Air Museum for a Customer Appreciation dinner, which was so amazing to visit with everyone we speak to over the phone. We held our annual Wrenching on Warbirds and spent the week sharing the restoration details of the Reserver Grand Champ P-51B Shillelaugh. See you next year at Oshkosh 2027!

Destination: EAA Airventure in Oshkosh. The Lineup: The Flying Bulls' P-38, The Dakota Territory Air Museum's P-51B, DTAM's P-47, DTAM's Harvard, Whitney Beck's F4U-4, and Ala Doble's F8F Bearcat.
The coolest people, surrounded by the coolest airplanes, all at one small airport in Bemidji, Minnesota.
The Flying Bulls chose AirCorps Aviation as their stop for routine maintenance on the P-38's journey from Salzburg, Austria — and we got a full week with their mechanics and pilot before the rest of the gang rolled in to make the trek to Oshkosh together.
After the airshow week ended, Red Bull 's DC-6B swung back through Bemidji and gave our whole team a day we won't forget.

We were honored to have The Flying Bulls land at BJI with the Red Bull DC-6! We fit as many AirCorps employees as we could on the airplane – each handing their boarding pass over to the official flight attendants. The day ended with a celebration with everyone to eat, view the beautiful vintage airplane from Austria, and visit with The Flying Bulls crew. Today we said goodbye to Eskil and his team as they left for Chicago.

The P-51B Shillelaugh had its debut at Oskhosh 26!
Restoring a piece of history like this takes endless grit, and our team poured absolute heart and soul into every single rivet. Marking the 6th airplane restored for the Dakota Territory Air Museum group, Shillelaugh stands as one of our finest achievements yet.

Beyond the airframe itself, we had the tremendous opportunity to bring the story of David O’Hara, Ken Dahlberg, the Baudoin family, and the legendary 354th Fighter Group to life. A truly unforgettable highlight was having Patrick O’Hara—whose father originally named Shillelaugh—join us to share incredible stories at our booth and during Warbirds in Review.

These aircraft take an entire industry, and with each one the entire industry wins.

A massive thank you to Bruce Eames, Warren Pietsch, and Bernie Vasquez for their incredible vision and leadership in raising up a Mustang that looks, feels, and flies just as it did back in the 1940s.

We are honored that our war-weary P-51B Shillelaugh took home Reserve Grand Champion at EAA AirVenture 2026!

Thank you and congratulations to Bruce Eames for his incredible vision and leadership in raising up a Mustang that looks, feels, and flies just as it did back in the 1940s. Congratulations as well to Pat Harker and his beautiful combat vet L-4. Bruce's P-51 "Shillelaugh" took home Reserve Grand Champion and Pat's L-4 received Best L-Bird.

Our team had a fantastic time serving customers at Oshkosh ’26.
