From participant to professional 💙
Jacob came to Heart of Oregon ready to build his future—and through hands-on training, real-world job experience, and pre-apprenticeship certification, he gained the skills and confidence to launch into the workforce.
Today, Jacob is building a meaningful career as an Apprentice at Sunlight Solar Bend, Oregon. Even more powerful, he was part of the crew installing solar on Heart of Oregon's new Campus Center building—a true full-circle moment that reflects the lasting impact of investing in young people.
We are proud to see Jacob and so many of our alumni thriving in apprenticeships and careers that strengthen our communities and support a more sustainable future.
