Forest Service firefighters are responding to incident #336, a new fire located south of Hills Creek Reservoir along Forest Service Road 21 on the Middle Fork Ranger District. The fire is estimated at 10 acres and is actively burning in grass in an area adjacent to the Coffee Pot Fire burn scar. Engines, crews and helicopters are on scene with additional resources en route.

Smoke may be visible from Oakridge. Sand Prairie Campground has been closed. Please avoid the area for public and firefighter safety.
