Specialized Aero Works in Bend, Oregon, is now an approved provider for veterans' benefits covering Upset Prevention and Recovery Training, tailwheel, and spin endorsements. The Part 141 flight school is led by National Flight Instructor of the Year Mike Kloch.

Congratulations to Dr. Todd W., who came from Idaho to do Enhanced UPRT & get his tailwheel endorsement. We had a great 6 days flying together (despite some smokey days). With a lot of ground training, 5 UPRT flights & 6 tailwheel training flights, Todd is a whole new & improved kind of pilot. The change is pretty amazing.

Congratulations to Patrick Benz, who earned the International Aerobatic Club’s (IAC) Primary and Sportsman Smooth awards at SAW with Mike, on one flight!

The Smooth awards are a great challenge for anyone interested in aerobatics to achieve levels of proficiency. Plus you get you name listed on the IAC website.
