Character Over Credentials
One of the biggest hiring mistakes organizations make is believing the best resume automatically equals the best employee.
After reviewing hundreds of resumes and interviewing hundreds of candidates I've found that some of the most impressive candidates on paper become average employees. While some of the least expected candidates become standout performers.
The difference is often not experience- it's attitude.
Give me someone who is coachable, accountable, positive, and eager to learn and I will take that over a long list of credentials any time. Experience matters, skills matter, but character and culture is something you cannot teach.
