NEW: Average retail fertilizer prices continued to move slightly higher during the first week of October 2026, according to sellers surveyed by DTN.

Seven fertilizers were more expensive compared to last month, while the remaining nutrient was slightly lower.

NEW: For the third week in a row, most fertilizers are more expensive compared to last month, according to retail fertilizer prices tracked by DTN for the last week of September 2026.

Seven fertilizers were higher looking back to last month while the remaining nutrient was slightly lower.

🌡️WARM OCTOBER: We’re starting off the month with some “cooler” days ahead, but as I mentioned in a post a couple of weeks back… October will be a WARM month.
