The Conway Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Louis Wayne Gauteau, who has been reported missing.

Mr. Gauteau was last seen around 7:30 p.m. on July 26, 2026, after leaving Brookdale Senior Living, located at 1160 Hogan Lane, on foot with his walker.

Description:

86-year-old white male
5’7”, approximately 140 lbs.
Gray hair
Brown eyes
Wearing a gray shirt and blue shorts
Has a bandage covering stitches on his left arm
Walks with a walker
Suffers from dementia

Family and caregivers advise that Mr. Gauteau enjoys being outdoors and may have wandered toward nearby wooded areas or other natural surroundings.

If you live or work near the Hogan Lane area, please take a moment to check your property, including wooded areas, sheds, garages, porches, and other places where someone may seek shelter or rest.

If you see Mr. Gauteau, please do not assume someone else has already called. Stay with him if it is safe to do so and immediately contact the Conway Police Department at 501-450-6120 or call 911.

Today, our Favor Home Care family said goodbye to one of our own. This morning, our sweet office dog, Bella, crossed the Rainbow Bridge.

Bella wasn’t just a dog who came to work — she was our protector of snacks, stress reliever, faithful companion and a source of smiles on hard days. Though she was Marc's most loyal friend, she also held a special place with all of us.

Life definitely won’t feel the same without her. Her favorite spots will be a little quieter and our hearts a little heavier.

Thank you, Bella, for your unconditional love and the joy you brought to our Favor Home Care family. You were deeply loved and you will be deeply missed.

Run free, sweet girl. Chase all the birds, soak up all the sunshine and know that you will forever be a part of our story.
