Good afternoon everyone a few things to remember, even though we have had some rain. It has not been near enough to be able to burn. Most counties in Arkansas are still under a burn ban and it looks like it will be that way for the foreseeable future remember no outdoor burning is permitted during a burn ban even if it rains, burn bans are put into place by the County Judge and or the Arkansas Department of agriculture

Also, please be advised residence in the area could be subject to a fine if you are caught burning in a burn ban so PLEASE DO NOT BURN.

08/23/2026

Good day, everyone! Just a friendly reminder: even if you were lucky enough to receive some rain yesterday, it was not enough to lift the current burn ban.

Please do not conduct any outdoor burning at this time. We understand the rain may have helped, but conditions are still dry enough that outdoor burning remains a serious fire risk.

The Shaw Volunteer Fire Department thanks everyone for your patience and cooperation as we work to keep our community safe. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us.

If you see someone conducting an outdoor burn or notice a fire or other situation that concerns you, please call 911 and report it.

Thank you for helping us keep Shaw safe! 🚒

Attention all Tull Community Shaw Community Arkansas. As we have said us with Shaw Volunteer Fire Department will keep you posted on any developments for a burn ban! As of now Saline County is under a burn ban.

Please read the following.

⚠️ BURN BAN IN EFFECT FOR SALINE COUNTY ⚠️

Effective immediately, Saline County Judge Matt Brumley has issued a countywide burn ban due to hazardous fire conditions.
Saline County has been closely monitoring conditions alongside the Saline County Office of Emergency Management and our state and local partners. Continued dry conditions and an elevated fire risk have created dangerous circumstances across the county, increasing the potential for fires to start and spread quickly.

🔥 NO OUTDOOR BURNING IS ALLOWED while the burn ban is in effect.
⚠️ If you see burning activity, report it immediately to the appropriate authorities.
The burn ban will remain in effect until conditions improve. County officials and emergency management personnel will continue monitoring conditions daily.
