The mayor has proclaimed May as the month of Gardening for Wildlife, a program through the National Wildlife Federation. We invite residents to garden for local wildlife, no matter how big or small your garden may be. From porches and decks to full landscaped yards, native habitat gardens can support twice the amount of wildlife when compared to yards that are just grass.

Did you know native plants are the foundation of the wildlife habitat garden and it's suggested your garden is made up of a minimum of 70% of those native species?
