🎨 TECH TIP TUESDAY — VIKING AUTO PAINT

Same paint code…different shade? 🤔

Some automotive paint codes have multiple color variations. Comparing color chips or a spray-out card against the vehicle helps identify the best match before painting.

Working on a repair or restoration? Stop by with your paint code and tell us about your project. Our team is here to help with PPG automotive paint, supplies, and friendly local service!

What color has given you the hardest time matching—white, silver, red, or something else? 👇

🎨 Tech Tip Tuesday from Viking Auto Paint!

When it comes to color matching, taking a little extra time up front can save a lot of time in the booth.

Before mixing a color, always check for alternate variants. Two vehicles with the same paint code can still look different because of production plant, age, weathering, and previous repairs.

A quick spray-out card and proper variant check can help lead to better matches, less rework, and happier customers.

Do it once. Do it right. That’s the Viking standard.

Have questions or need help with your next color match? Stop by Viking Auto Paint or give us a call at (314) 726-0305.
