DATATHON FOR SOCIAL GOOD: Analyzing and Accelerating Global Development
Do you have an idea that can leverage analytics to solve large-scale issues? Are you interested in global development? With the plethora of data and tools available to the public, we can visualize trends and generate insights about issues in communities across the world. Organizations such as the World Bank and UNICEF host comprehensive collections of global data that are used to better understand a variety of topics including climate change, child nutrition, and education.
Data Science Society and Net Impact Berkeley are inviting you all to participate in the 3rd annual Datathon for Social Good, sponsored by Deepnote! We’ll be hosting workshops, panels and many more events throughout the weekend, with some exciting prizes at the end!
🕒 When: November 13th - November 14th
📍 Where: Online, with select in-person events at UC Berkeley
👥 Who: ALL majors and backgrounds, team sizes of 3-5 participants

This event is open to people from ALL majors and backgrounds. We will be hosting office hours, guided worksessions, and workshops for you to gain hands-on knowledge, and we HIGHLY encourage those of you who are new to the field to participate!
