UpSync Consulting stands in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter Movement and the families of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Armaud Arbery and innumerable others who have suffered the result of decades of systemic racism.

Ariel Liu || Vice President of Marketing

Year: Sophomore
Hometown: Saratoga, CA

Ariel joined UpSync in the fall of her freshman year. She started out as a general consultant, went on to be Social Media Chair, and then moved up to become our current VP of Marketing. Ariel joined UpSync because she wanted to find a community of friends, while also developing herself personally and professionally, and she feels that UpSync was the perfect place to do just that. Something she feels is unique about UpSync is the chance to work together with many different members in the club to create deliverables for companies.

Fun fact: Ariel‘s go-to snack is blueberry goat cheese and water chips. When she’s not going ham on studying, you can find her chilling at her favorite pizzeria, Sliver.

Cassie Zhang joined Upsync to explore the field of consulting. She not only had the experience to have one on one interactions and projects with business professionals, but she also found her second community with the UpSync family.

While Cassie studies mathematics, her professional interests include data science within business and/or technology industries. After graduating, Cassie plans on moving to the East Village in New York to work in tech and own 2 dogs!

Fun Fact: Cassie's hobbies consist of writing food reviews and trying new food! Her favorite restaurant in Berkeley is Imm Thai.
