The weather is finally starting to get nicer here in Michigan, but as a Michigander, I also know that we aren’t really in the clear for the “real” Spring for at least another month or so. ▫️How many bags of frozen fruits and vegetables have you thrown away lately because of freezer burn? Did you find them stuffed in the back of the freezer or buried underneath a bunch of boxes and bags? Do you remember when you purchased it?

Sound familiar? You’re not alone. In fact, it’s actually more common than you think. Recently, I found these clear containers and I’m absolutely obsessed with them. They have become my go-to product for freezers because they come in several different sizes, they stack together perfectly (allowing you to see exactly what you have) and they are absolutely stunning!✨

▫️This is one of my favorite pantry tricks.✨ I know it can be hard to convert over to containers because you don’t want to lose the cooking instructions on the back of the box.

Here’s how you get around that. Grab a sticky note and write down the cook time and any other important information that you might need from the back of the box. Then just stick it on the bottom side of the lid.

This is also very helpful if you have any special diets or food allergies in your household. You can list all of that on the sticky note too.▫️

▫️Master Bathroom Organization▫️

▫️The space that never seems to have enough storage, right? In many cases, that’s not even close to being accurate. I love organizing bathrooms. You can free up so much space by eliminating packaging and utilizing baskets & containers.

You don’t need everything to live in the bathroom, in many cases items can be moved to a hall closet or other area in the home. Think about what you use on a daily or weekly basis and go from there. When grouping items together, you can do it many different ways. I like to put all of the hair products together, all makeup products together, etc. and depending on how much space we have to work with, I’ll put all of the items that are used on a daily in a certain section so it’s easier to get ready.

Have fun with it! Think outside the box and get creative!▫️

▫️The Dreaded Tupperware Zone: A spot that can never seem to stay organized. Bottoms are missing tops, tops are missing bottoms, it’s a mismatched free for all! So how do you end this vicious cycle?

▫️Pull everything out. All of it!

▫️Play the match game with your containers and sort them into piles ( keep | donate | recycle ).

▫️Move the shelves around and/or add shelving to utilize your space more efficiently.

▫️Place your nicely matched items back into the cupboard and position them so you can see everything.

This will help you stay on top of what you have and make it easy to refresh as needed.▫️
