It’s nice to find letterpress tools at a tool meet. Not terribly common, but there is usually a few items. Thompson Cabinet line gauge and an ink knife, or likely putty knife, but it’ll work fine for ink. $1 each sounded just fine to me

I finally got the Miller Type High Gauge cleaned up and down in the print shop this last week. Cleaned the rust,
Left the paint alone since it’s in fairly good condition. Also had to replace the fixture and gauge with new ones from Starrett. All in all a very useful addition to the shop! #918

All in a nights work! The 8x12 is in place with a drip pan underneath, and I brought the rouse miterer down and have that in place as well. Plenty of space for the 10x15 eventually and more type cabinets. Eventually the whole shop will be down here. Just need to attach the delivery board, level the press and check a few things and it’s ready to run!
