What’s one idea from a recent training that you’re excited to put into practice?

The past few weeks have been full...in the best and most exhausting way. 💕

I’ve spent time in rooms with educators and leaders who care deeply about the people they serve. I’m tired, for sure. But I’m also coming home with a notebook FULL of ideas, a heart full of gratitude, and a fresh reminder of why I do this work.

Every session is a little different. The conversations, questions, and moments of connection stay with me long after I pack up my materials.

Building Directed Success has stretched me in ways I couldn’t have predicted. And I’m still learning, creating, adjusting, and finding new ways to help people grow.

A busy season can be tiring and energizing at the same time. Lately, I’ve been feeling both.

Tomorrow at Head Start East, I’m talking about what sustainable wellness actually looks like in practice, not just what it looks like on a poster!

Real wellness starts with how we show up, how we respond, and how we create environments where children can feel supported, safe, and ready to grow!

What a week at the TOOTRiS 2026 WINGS Summit! 🚀

The final two days were filled with bold ideas, meaningful conversations, and the kind of connections that remind me why I love this work so much. 💚

WINGS brought together an incredible community of individuals all committed to creating a stronger future for children, families, and the people who serve them. I’m heading home energized by what I learned, excited about what’s possible, and especially grateful for the amazing people I had the opportunity to meet and spend time with this week.

Thank you for the conversations, the laughter, the encouragement, and the shared commitment to moving this work forward. I hope this is only the beginning of what we’ll create together!

Because the best events don’t end when we leave the room. The ideas, relationships, and momentum should keep flying.

Jaime and I have been working on a fun little side project…

And it started with something we both believe:
Training should be more than a one-and-done event. It should be an experience.

The skills we build before a training and the support we provide after it can be just as important as what happens during the session.

That’s where Ignite Learning Lab comes in. 🔥

It’s our way of bringing the full training experience to life—learning, reflection, resources, coaching, connection, and community that extend beyond the classroom, conference room, or program.

We’re starting small, but we’re constantly adding, experimenting, and building something we hope makes professional learning feel a little more connected. 💛

Because learning shouldn’t stop when the session does.
