Hi all: I'm attaching a flier for the 2019 National Night Out event at Berryton Elementary/Stous Park on August 10th. Hope you can join us, and volunteer help would be appreciated.

Hi everyone: Our Berryton CERT group met tonight to discuss this year's National Night Out event. It will be held on August 10th from 3 to 7 PM at Berryton Elementary and Stous Park, 69th and Berryton Road. We can always use help, as well as exhibitors, including classic cars and tractors, art work, and so on. We'll provide burgers and dogs, water and soft drinks, and ice cream as usual. This is an alcohol free event, but very family friendly. The goal is for our neighbors to meet one another and together work to reduce crime in our Berryton community. We hope you can join us, and if you would like to assist in the planning and putting on the event by all means messages us.

We dodged the weather bullet on Saturday, rain stopped at noon and did not start again until 8 or so. I'm posting photos from the event, and will follow with a thank you to our supporters.

2017 Berryton National Night Out

08/04/2017

Hello everyone: I wanted to touch base about Saturday's National Night Out event. I have been tracking the weather, and if NOAA and WeatherBug and WIBW turn out to be accurate, the chance of rain is highest Saturday morning and drops down to 10% or so after 12 PM. While we never know in advance if that will be what happens, we are using that as a guide and plan to go ahead with our NNO at Berryton Elementary/Stous Park, from 3 to 7. If we do get a lot of rain and the grassy areas are too soft to be on we will simply set everything up in the Berryton Elementary parking lot. I'll continue to check the weather status in the morning, and post again if things change. In the meantime, please plan to come out and join us on a much cooler day than typical for August. Keep your fingers crossed, hope to see you tomorrow.

Just a quick reminder that our Berryton NNO event is Saturday from 3-7 PM at Berryton Elementary/Stous Park. Bring your lawn chairs and come enjoy music and food, and check out the tractors and cars. By all means if you have a motorcycle or an antique or classic car or tractor bring it out and show it off!

As always, NNO is a drug and alcohol free event. Hope to see all our neighbors there this year!
