1400 yards, I was shooting for qualification to have access to the range. 600 yards on a AR15. I shoot the 600 yard range for the CMP high power rifle competition. It’s not a new thing for me but the trigger was. Rise Armament RA-100. 4 1/2 pound pull, 2 stage trigger. I’ve been using it for a few months and I’ve learned the feel, I can feel the edge just before the brake. It’s AWESOME!!!!
I have a few of these triggers if anyone is interested, let me know.

Hello everyone, we’re still here. Been busy with a lot of restorations on some older fi****ms and competition rifles. Never to busy for a new custom build or whatever you need.

Gordy is a master gunsmith that has built several record holding rifles. He shares his knowledge and experience with several classes a year, I was fortunate enough to be in the most recent class. I can honestly say my brain is full of things I’ve learned this week. Can’t thank Gordy enough for sharing his knowledge and friendship, he’s a great guy. Can’t wait to use what I’ve learned and take Cotton State Arms to the next level.

We have our problems, we have our differences and we even have our moments but I’m dang proud to be here and I wouldn’t take anything for it.

Being over 100 years old, it’s still a fine gun, a testament to the craftsmanship of the time. It took a little while to track down some parts and fabricate one or two but it was worth it.

Everyone knows my passion for building fi****ms. The work that goes into making each one of the rifles as unique as the owners themselves and still maintaining precision. But sometimes you gotta break out the good ole .22 and spend some time with the ones you love. I highly suggest that everyone spend time with the ones you care most about. Fishing, hunting, shooting, shopping or just hanging out. These are the days that you’ll miss later on, enjoy them while you can.

Hello there, just to let everyone know that we’ve been extremely busy and working hard on several things that I think a lot of y’all will be interested in. we are yet in a position to announce it yet but it’s big (for us).
There has been a few things happening in Washington that has caused us to adjust our product line. Until the pistol brace ban is settled or made into an actual law, we will not offer the brace as a option on any AR type pistols.

This is a .300 blackout, 16” Barrel. Smooth and extremely accurate. It was a pleasure building and fun to shoot.

Well, another Thanksgiving has past. We hope everyone had a great day. Hopefully we all had a moment to reflect and truly be thankful for everything the good lord has given us. In the day and time we are currently in, both locally and worldwide, we can see the good in our fellow man, have the wisdom, foresight, compassion and knowledge to be able to change the things we can and pray for strength and acceptance in the things we can not. We would like to thank all of our family and friends for the past year. We’ve made a good bit of progress and strides in our industry. As we move forward, we are expanding some of the services we offer at Cotton State and we are working hard to get everything up and ready. We’ll be making an announcement when we are ready to roll out.
Again, thank you for all the support and prayers we’ve been blessed with.
