Recently, our mitigation team responded to a commercial property where flooding impacted multiple units. Our crew arrived quickly and got to work taking moisture readings, extracting standing water, setting drying equipment, and closely monitoring the drying process.

Our mitigation team recently responded to a property dealing with mold growth and got to work right away. We established containment with a Starc wall to prevent further spread, set up professional drying equipment, removed affected materials, treated the impacted areas, and finished by encapsulating the affected surfaces.

From containment to cleanup, our team takes every step seriously to help restore a safe, clean environment.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of one of our own, a beloved member of the Brookstone Restoration family and one of our mitigation crew chiefs.

He was so much more than an employee to us. He was resilient, hardworking, kind, and always found a way to make us laugh, even on the toughest days. He faced hard times in his own life, yet he continued to persevere, overcome, and build a beautiful life for himself. His strength and resilience were an inspiration to everyone around him.

His presence made a difference, and his absence will be deeply felt by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. We are incredibly grateful for the time we had with him, the laughter we shared, and the impact he made on our team and so many others.

Protecting properties before small issues become major setbacks. 💪

When a property was being prepared for potential residents, an HVAC leak was discovered just in time. The Brookstone Restoration team responded quickly to mitigate the damage and prevent further issues.

Our crew quickly started removing affected materials, setting drying equipment, and began addressing moisture and microbial growth that had developed in multiple areas due to the leak.

What started as a small area of microbial growth required a thorough approach to ensure the space was safe and properly restored. 💪

Our team responded quickly by establishing containment to prevent the affected area from spreading and setting an air scrubber to improve air quality throughout the remediation process. Once containment was in place, the damaged drywall was carefully removed. During our inspection inside the wall cavity, we discovered additional microbial growth that wasn't visible from the surface.

After treating the affected areas with an antimicrobial solution, we allowed everything to dry completely before returning to encapsulate the wall, helping provide long-lasting protection and preparing the space for the next phase of restoration.

When storms hit, the damage isn't always visible right away.

After a recent storm knocked out the HVAC system at a local elementary school, two classrooms experienced mold growth on the ceiling tiles due to excess moisture.

Our Brookstone Restoration mitigation team responded quickly by removing the affected ceiling tiles and deploying commercial dehumidifiers to dry the space and stop the spread of moisture. Once the environment was stabilized, our contents team completed a thorough structural cleaning to ensure any remaining mold contamination was properly addressed.
