We are proud to announce that Admiral Security Officer Amanda Lucian has been named the recipient of the 2026 Ralph Day Memorial Security Officer Heroism Award, one of the most prestigious honors in the private security industry.

In June 2025, Officer Lucian responded to a call to assist with an emergency at a resident’s home. When it became clear that a mother was in active labor and her baby would arrive before emergency medical personnel, Amanda stepped forward without hesitation.

Remaining calm under extraordinary circumstances, she assisted the mother through the delivery, safely received the newborn, and helped clear the baby’s airway until emergency medical personnel arrived. Both mother and baby were later reported to be doing well.

Presented annually by ASIS International and the ASIS Foundation, the Ralph Day Memorial Security Officer Heroism Award recognizes a front-line security officer who demonstrates exceptional courage, heroism, and dedication while going far beyond the expectations of their position and training.

Amanda’s selfless actions, compassion, and courage exemplify the very best of the security profession.
