Keep an eye out for the anticipated release. This is the type of book business leaders have demanded. It is a playbook to develop and maintain a strategic and competitive advantage in a chaotic business environment where change is constant and the old business rules don’t apply.

The Five-Year Business Plan Is Dead. Here’s What Replaces It.

For decades, business leaders have been handed the same playbook: set a vision, write the plan, execute over five years.
That playbook was written for a world that no longer exists.

AI isn’t coming for your industry. It’s already there, reshaping operations, rewriting competitive advantages, and eliminating strategies that seemed bulletproof just 18 months ago. The leaders still building static five-year plans aren’t being bold. They’re being reckless.

I’ve spent more than 40 years advising businesses, from startups to larger-sized companies, through volatile markets, regulatory upheaval, and rapid change. What I’ve seen clearly: the organizations that survive disruption aren’t the ones with the best plan. They’re the ones with the best system for planning.

That insight is at the heart of my new book:

📘 Beyond the Business Plan: Building Companies That Move at the Speed of AI

This book introduces the B.O.L.T. framework — a practical, adaptive model for strategy in an AI-driven world. It covers everything from human–machine workflows and dynamic forecasting to the new leadership competencies that high-velocity environments demand.

Whether you’re a CEO, entrepreneur, board member, investor, executive, or even a business student, if you’re responsible for the direction of an organization, this book was written for you.

It’s not theory. It’s a working roadmap, built from four decades of real-world advisory experience and grounded in the realities of what AI, robotics, and automation are doing to every industry right now.

The book releases at the end of this month.

Follow me for the announcement, and if this resonates with challenges you’re navigating, share it with someone who needs to hear it.

The companies that thrive in the next decade won’t be the biggest or the best-funded. They’ll be the most adaptive.

Let’s build those companies.

Something big is coming — and your business strategy may never be the same.

Later this month, I’m releasing my new book: Beyond the Business Plan: Building Companies That Move at the Speed of AI

Here’s the hard truth most consultants won’t tell you: the five-year business plan is dead.

Not declining. Not evolving. Dead.

AI, robotics, and automation aren’t just changing how we work, they’re dismantling the foundational assumptions that traditional business planning was built on. Predictable competitive advantages? Gone. Static strategic roadmaps? A liability. The playbook that built successful companies in the last century? It’s now the anchor slowing you down.

Beyond the Business Plan introduces the B.O.L.T. framework, a practical, adaptive model built for leaders who need to move fast, think clearly, and build organizations that thrive in conditions of continuous disruption.

This book is written for:
✅ CEOs and C-suite executives navigating accelerating change
✅ Entrepreneurs and founders building in an AI-transformed landscape
✅ Board members and investors who need a sharper lens on risk and resilience
✅ Business advisors who want a practical framework to bring to clients
✅ Business students entering a radically different professional world

Across 15 chapters, you’ll gain real, actionable frameworks covering dynamic strategic planning, human-machine workflows, future workforce design, AI-driven data strategy, next-generation KPIs, responsible automation, and scaling without adding headcount, among much more.

This isn’t theory. It’s grounded in four decades of hands-on advisory work with startups, small businesses, and mid-sized companies navigating real-world complexity.

The release is just weeks away. Follow me here so you don’t miss it, and if this resonates with a colleague, leader, or entrepreneur in your network, please share it forward.

The companies that will win the next decade aren’t planning further ahead. They’re moving faster, adapting smarter, and building differently.

Let’s talk about how.

On this Earth Day, 2026, we’re reminded that stewardship of our planet isn’t just an environmental issue, it’s a shared responsibility that cuts across every profession, industry, and community.

Sustainability is no longer a distant goal; it’s a present-day obligation for all of us. Whether through the choices we make in our businesses or at our homes, the policies we support, or the habits we build in our daily lives, each action contributes in some small way to a larger impact affecting others.

What speaks to me most about Earth Day is the idea that progress doesn’t require perfection, it merely requires participation. Small, consistent efforts, when multiplied across millions of people, drive meaningful change.

Today is an opportunity not only to reflect, but to recommit to innovation that respects our resources, to leadership that prioritizes the long-term impacts, and to decisions that consider the generations that will follow us.

The future of our planet will be shaped by what we choose to do today.

I’m honored and deeply appreciative to share that I’ve been selected to the 2026 Top 50 Lawyers in America list.

This recognition is especially meaningful given how rare it is—of the approximately 1.3 million attorneys practicing in the United States, fewer than 0.5% of attorneys and firms receive this distinction. To be included among such an accomplished group of professionals is truly humbling.

I’m grateful for the trust my clients place in me, the colleagues and mentors who have shaped my practice, and the opportunity to do work that matters every day. This acknowledgment serves as both a milestone and a reminder to continue striving for excellence.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey.
