The Bevier Fire Protection District
Would like to give a
Big Thank You to
Gabrielson towing company of their generous donation to our fire department-
Gabrielson‘s towing donation will go towards a purchase of a ATV
Purchasing of this atv will greatly improve our ability to help at brushfires in helping our fire department reach / get into areas where it is difficult for our trucks to reach.

A few of us conquered The Coffin tonight.

We’re thankful for the time and effort put in by our members teaching and learning valuable skills.

I was even able to trick the guys and snap a pic of everyone smiling.

The fire that we responded to on Friday Feb 27th south of town that spread thru a field -through some trees jumped from The tree line and spread through the cemetery-
This hand carved wooden statue was saved -
And then on Saturday
A BIG THANK YOU to
Robert & Todd with the
Bevier FD they went out and washed black ash build up off some of the stones that the fire had reached from the fire that went thru on Friday
(Robert is also the grounds keeper for the cemetery & Todd is the president of the Cemetery board)

Be carful even days after burning a brush pile -
even a little amber left behind
From (4days ago) the wind can still ignite it -
And today the wind Ignited that amber and started a bad brush fire
As the saying goes it spread like wild fire -
here is proof today of a fire South of Bevier that went thru a timber line /a field and into a cemetery -
Thanks To our Bevier FD for quick response and knock down -

BFD had on Saturday it was definitely a great team effort with Bevier & Atlanta Fire Department’s getting it taken care of in a timely manner- thanks Guys & Gals 👍

BFD received two calls back to back this weekend utilizing several of our apparatuses. We were able to contain a large grass fire despite strong winds. Thank you to Atlanta FD for assisting with mutual aid ensuring an aggressive and effective approach.
