So today’s charcuterie made exclusively for our w**e & cheese club tonight at Merry Family W**ery is:
Fresh Mozzarella & Pepperoni Pinwheels
Fresh Mozzarella & Salami Pinwheels
With Ritz Crackers (not shown)
Crème Brûlée Cream Cheese sprinkled with Caramel Sugar
Lorna Doone Cookies
*Paired with Merry Family W**ery’s Liberty Apple W**e.*
Tasting the Pinwheels with the W**e is going to make the Fresh Mozzarella come to the forefront for a brief moment, then comes the salt from the meats, these two things will bring out the sweetness of the Apple in the w**e. Great flavor combo! Very pleasing to the palate. The Crème Brûlée is made purposely to be mildly sweet to match the Shortbread Cookie so there’s no competing with the w**e. The combination of this is delicious!
The ideal is to allow the Apple W**e to stay valid and be savored.
Remember, the key to any w**e selection meant to pair with a meal (or snack) is to let the w**e compliment and vice versa! The w**e shouldn’t overpower the flavor of your meal, and your food shouldn’t hide your w**e. They go hand in hand to compliment each other! Making the ultimate flavor profile collectively.
