Yellowstone Auction could use a few more temporary helpers for the following positions.
Most work is done at our auction yard on the west end of Billings, but we do occasionally travel for onsite auctions. We have helpers that do both and some that just help at the yard.
We are going to put together a few metal buildings. These are kits. Ability to follow instructions, common tools like cordless drills, hammers, measuring tape, levels, etc. 20-25 an hour. Would like to begin on Monday, we have several to build, so this could last awhile. We are flexible on days, if you need to work around other obligations, let us know.
We could also use a couple more equipment operators. Such as skid steers, telehandlers. In addition to large local consignments, we get container loads of new tools and equipment for our auctions, and we like to get them unloaded quickly, so the truckers can get back on the road asap. Equipment operators also help us setup and organize the auctions, as well as help load out customers that buy merchandise at the auction. There is some heavy lifting involved, plus rigging with chains and straps. 25-35 an hour.
PLEASE NOTE, none of these are full-time jobs, just temp labor, on call, as we need extra help. Most of our current helpers are retired people or people between jobs, that have worked in the trades and are still in good enough shape to handle some heavy lifting from time to time.
