After 21 years with the Billings Fire Department, today marks the last shift for Deputy Fire Marshal Robertus.

Throughout his career, Deputy Fire Marshal Robertus served as Firefighter, Engineer, Captain, and for the past five years, Deputy Fire Marshal in the Fire Prevention Bureau. In his role as Deputy Fire Marshal, he has been instrumental as both an inspector and fire investigator, making a lasting impact on the department and community we serve.

We thank DFM Robertus for his dedication, leadership, and commitment to the Billings Fire Department over the last two decades. Please join us in wishing him a well earned retirement and the very best in his next chapter!

Billings firefighters have deployed to assist with the East Side Fire, supporting local crews as they work to contain the wildfire. Back home, the Billings Fire Department remains fully staffed to ensure the safety of our community.
