🚨 BURN ETERNAL REUNITES HOWARD JONES + ADAM DUTKIEWICZ 🚨

The former Killswitch Engage bandmates have launched a new project, Burn Eternal, and signed to Metal Blade Records. New music is coming soon.

Jones fronted KsE from 2002 to 2012 alongside guitarist/producer Dutkiewicz, an era that produced 'The End of Heartache' (the band’s first GRAMMY nod) and the platinum-selling 'As Daylight Dies,' still KsE’s best-selling album to date.

“We couldn’t be more excited to announce Burn Eternal joining forces with Metal Blade for our debut album,” says Jones. “The whole team has been amazing, and we can’t wait to get this music out. From an idea while having lunch in London to a completed album, this has been such a fun way to reconnect with my friend. Burn Eternal lives!”

“I am wicked excited to finally be able to share my project with Howard with all of you!” adds Dutkiewicz. “It feels great to be hanging with an old friend and making more music with him. We’re just two goofballs just dicking around in the studio again. We are also excited to be putting it out with the Metal Blade family. Mostly because they truly feel like family, not a corporation. Good vibes abound!”

Metal Blade founder and CEO Brian Slagel says: “As a huge fan of both Howard and Adam, it is a huge honor to welcome Burn Eternal to the Metal Blade family! I am excited for everyone to hear the record! As a fan, I love it! This is going to be fun working with everyone!”

The first official music from Burn Eternal is coming sooner than you’d think. Stay tuned! 🤘

October 17, 2000: Everlast released his third studio album ‘Eat at Wh**ey’s’ on Tommy Boy.

As with the rapper’s previous blues-influenced work, Wh**ey Ford Sings the Blues, the record’s audio production was primarily handled by Dante Ross and John Gamble and incorporates musical styles from hip hop, blues and rock music. It featured guest appearances from various musicians, such as Merry Clayton, Carlos Santana, B-Real, Rahzel, N’Dea Davenport, Cee-Lo Green, Warren Haynes, and Kurupt.

The album was both a commercial and critical success and has been certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America a month after its release. It peaked at number 20 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart with sales of 50,000 copies. The lead single of the record, “Black Jesus”, peaked at number 15 on the Billboard Alternative Songs and number 30 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock.
